Repatriation and Its Impact is an exhibit exploring and celebrating repatriation in museums. By tracing the history of Repatriation efforts and the societal impacts, Repatriation aims to engage visitors with an issue facing museums and communities around the world.
Centennial Park History Tours: 1897 Exposition (May)

See Centennial Park as you never have before in this guided outdoor tour that will help you picture the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition. Discover the stories of lost statues and buildings that once stood in the park as part of a six-month celebration of Tennessee’s 100th year of statehood.
Free and open to the public.

Learn about the original construction of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, and explore 2,500 years of architectural history as the structure transitioned from Greek temple to Christian church to Ottoman mosque.

David Gootnick’s work is a contemporary interpretation of kumiko in which he uses traditional woodworking techniques to create pieces with both modern and ancient motifs.
