FREE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES for MNPS

Free for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) students, staff, and faculty— and their entire families!

Event Highlights:

5:00 PM- Outdoor Museum Tour with an Archaeologist

5:45 PM- Nature Walk with Hazel Miller, a Naturalist from Shelby Bottoms Nature Center

It’s time for a family field trip to the Parthenon!

DURING STEAM NIGHT YOU CAN ALSO:

  • Learn from museum experts about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) connections at the Parthenon.

  • Learn about the snake on the Athena Statue and craft your own snake.

  • Weave like a spider and learn about the myth of Arachne.

  • Enjoy Centennial Park and listen to a free Exterior Architecture Audio Tour in English, Spanish, or Arabic.
