Centennial Park History Tours: 1897 Exposition (October)

See Centennial Park as you never have before in this guided outdoor tour that will help you picture the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition. Discover the stories of lost statues and buildings that once stood in the park as part of a six-month celebration of Tennessee’s 100th year of statehood.

Kidsville at the Parthenon (October)
Families with children ages 12 and under can register in advance or in the lobby beginning at 10:30 AM, and children will immediately be able to participate in activity & craft stations located upstairs.

International Archaeology Day

International Archaeology Day & the TN STEAM Festival will feature family-friendly STEAM activities that highlight science and archaeology to share the legacy of Greek culture and raise awareness of the ancient world. Museum visitors can earn an “Official Archaeologist of the Nashville Parthenon” sticker.

Nashville’s most prominent sculptor returns to the Parthenon with a new body of work that celebrates contemporary people, including Nashville natives, activists, musicians, and athletes.

FISK JUBILEE SINGERS (ECHO Chamber Music Series)
The Fisk Jubilee Singers, Nashville’s global musical ambassadors since 1871, will make their ECHO Chamber Music Series debut in 2025! The Fisk Jubilee Singers are an a cappella ensemble from Nashville’s Fisk University that perform Negro spirituals originally sung by slaves prior to the Civil War.

ALIAS Chamber Ensemble makes their ECHO debut this season celebrating International Women's Day with Centennial Park Conservancy. The evening will feature women composers throughout history with compositions that lend themselves to the unique reverb of the Nashville Parthenon.
