The same view, 125 years later.

Join a Parthenon expert at 5 PM to see Centennial Park as you never have before in this special tour for STEAM Night.

You’ll hear stories of the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition and find specific places in the park to help you picture the past. This tour features archival photographs and images of artifacts from the Exposition.

After the tour, we recommend visiting the Centennial Exposition Gallery permanent exhibit on Level 1.

This is an outdoor walking tour subject to cancellation due to poor weather. It includes walking on paved and unpaved surfaces, holding laminated papers, holding transparencies, and looking far distances.

Centennial Park History Tours are free and open to the public.
