35 years of athena parthenos

In 2025, the Nashville Parthenon celebrates the 35th anniversary of Alan LeQuire’s monumental Athena Parthenos statue. Unveiled in 1990 after eight years of research, modeling, and sculpting, this 42-foot-tall recreation of the lost ancient original remains the tallest indoor sculpture in the United States.
