MNPS STEAM Expedition Takeover!

Local middle schools visit the Parthenon January-March 2025

The Parthenon is proud to announce its acceptance as a Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) partner for the 2024-2025 academic year. This is the sixth year of this dynamic partnership, which will see more than 2,000 local 6th graders visit the museum at the start of their Social Studies unit on ancient Greece. To provide the best experience for students and visitors, the Parthenon will be closed to accommodate large-group MNPS STEAM Expedition takeovers. The museum will be open to the public starting at 1 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays select weeks from January-March 2025.

Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Berry, MNPS Director of STEAM and Science, Dr. Heather Ihde, Coordinator of Experiential Learning, and the entire MNPS STEAM team for their support, guidance, and partnership!
